Valentine’s Day 2019: What’s the Vibe?

Aquarius Sun, Gemini Moon, Pisces Mercury, Capricorn Venus, Aries Mars. A lot would say this Valentine’s Day is far from conventional in the romance area. With a strong focus on air and a tug of war between cardinal and mutable, February 14th is going to be a two way street between acting and missing our shots.

This Valentine’s Day could be the year of romantic luck for a lot of us, though! But why?

Valentine’s Day always falls under an Aquarius Sun, which can baffle a lot of people. One story behind the day speaks of a priest who married young lovers in secret even when it were illegal, which is exactly what the sign Aquarius stands for: revolting against societal injustice. In this way, Valentine’s Day being about love and stepping out of our comfort zone to admit our feelings is very much Aquarian antics.

This year specifically, Moon will be falling in Gemini, meaning Air Moons are likely to be feeling peaceful and harmonious on this day as there is a transit Moon trine to their natal Moon.

The Gemini Moon shows great communication on this day. If you’re planning a song or poetry, or to finally talk to a crush, this Moon sign allows you to properly show those feelings.

The flow of romantic words and moments is furthered by Pisces Mercury. Pisces is known for being a romantic idealist, and so when placed over Mercury, we can assume on this day our emotions will pour out of us.

On top of these gushing emotions, we also find stability, though. Capricorn Venus shows us that on this day, we have to maintain our heads and find reasonable plans, as that is how we can ensure our love lasts longer than just this one day.

Lastly, Aries Mars adds impulsive passion. It’s likely on this day, you won’t be able to stop yourself from just doing! The energy theme for this Valentine’s Day is being unapologetic about your feelings and allowing them to burst out.

Overall, there’s a huge upwelling of energy wanting you to unleash your feelings, tell your crush how you feel, whilst Capricorn Venus stays in the back of your head just silently reminding you to remember the long term.

  1. Hi, I think you must have mistakenly written that Venus will be in Capricorn and Mars in Aries, as it’s quite the opposite.. but I guess, the interpretation is correct, right?

  2. Oh Gosh, didn’t see the year date. It was the latest post, so I assumed it was for current transits and got confused 🙂 Shadow of Mercury playing games, huh?
